PLO

PLO Rules

PLO is very similar to Texas Hold’em with one game changing factor. Instead of two hole cards, each player is dealt four hole cards. In PLO, players must make the best possible hand with a combination of two from their hole cards and three from the community cards

PLO-5 Rules

PLO-5 is a variant of PLO game. All rules are similar to a normal PLO except that In PLO-5, players receive five hole cards instead four.

PLO-NL Rules

PLO-NL is a variant of PLO game. All rules are similar to a normal PLO game except that in PLO-NL, No Limit betting rules are applied after the flop.

Pot Limit

In Pot Limit Omaha (most popular form of Omaha Poker), the maximum a player can bet is the amount that is in the pot. For example, a $100 bet into a $100 pot.

However, during the pre-flop, the maximum a player can bet is the amount that is in the pot excluding the ante. For example, if the total pot is $100 and $20 is an ante, the maximum a player can bet is $80 on top of the player’s call amount.

The following are positions that you should know before playing the game.

Small blind

Dealer
Each hand has one designated dealer. The dealer position determines the small and big blind positions.
The dealer button is passed clockwise after every hand.
